Kaja, Duncan, Matt, Elissa and I took advantage of the good weather, and did a 3 day Elfin to Sphinx traverse of the Garibaldi Neve. This is an amazing place, where mountaineers are born. You can always go back for seconds (which I what I did).
Sunset over the Mamquam Massif.
Kaja and Duncan traversing the slopes below Opal Cone, towards the toe of the Garibaldi glacier.
Group shot.
Kaja and Duncan skinning up to the toe of the glacier.
Stefan caught up to us. He started from the parking lot that morning.

Descending down the Sentinel Glacier. I was trying to take a picture of Kaja in the background, but she wasn’t moving fast, and suddenly Duncan did a hockey stop right in front of me.
On the last day, we skied across Garibaldi Lake from the Burton Hut, to get back to Vancouver in time for work for two members of the party. It was -24C that morning.
